Eventlli ("Eventlli," "we," "us") operates eventlli.com, a directory connecting event planners with local vendors in London, Ontario. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have — whether you're browsing as a visitor or listing a business as a vendor.
Information we collect
If you're browsing or contacting a vendor — you don't need an account to search, browse, or enquire. When you submit an inquiry, a booking request, or a review, we collect the name, email, and (for bookings) phone number you provide, along with your message, so the vendor can respond to you directly.
If you use the search box — free-text queries you type (e.g. "affordable outdoor wedding photographer in London") are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to be interpreted into a category and location filter. We don't store these queries ourselves beyond what's needed to return your results.
If you save vendors to your Shortlist — this list is stored only in your browser's local storage on your device; we never see which vendors you've saved. We do log an anonymous event (which vendor, and whether it was saved or removed, with a timestamp) with no identifying information about you, so we can tell whether this feature is useful.
If you sign up as a vendor — we collect your account email, your business listing details (name, category, description, pricing, photos, and optional promotional video), and, if you choose to add one, your payout method (Interac e-Transfer email, bank account details, or PayPal email) so we know how you'd like to be paid. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card number.
How we use it
- To connect you with vendors (or clients) you contact through the platform.
- To operate vendor accounts, listings, subscriptions, and payouts.
- To improve search relevance and platform features.
- To detect abuse and keep the directory trustworthy (e.g. verifying a review came from a completed booking).
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Vendor-controlled analytics
Vendors on a paid plan may optionally add their own Google Analytics or Meta Pixel ID to their listing page. If a vendor has done this, visiting that vendor's page may trigger tracking controlled by that vendor, not by Eventlli. We validate the format of these IDs before loading them, but any data collected through them is governed by that vendor's own analytics account, not this policy.
Who we share information with
We use a small number of service providers to run the platform, each only for the purpose described:
- Supabase — our database, authentication, and file storage provider.
- Vercel — hosts the website itself.
- Stripe — processes vendor subscription payments.
- Anthropic — interprets natural-language search queries.
We don't share your information with anyone else except where required by law.
Cookies and local storage
We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in (for vendor accounts) and to remember your Shortlist. We don't run our own site-wide analytics or advertising cookies.
Your rights
As a business operating in Ontario, we handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by contacting us below. If you're not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Data retention
We keep inquiry, booking, and review information for as long as your account or listing is active, and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping. You can request deletion at any time.
Children
Eventlli is intended for adults planning or providing event services and is not directed at children under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
