Londoners elect a mayor, 14 ward councillors and school board trustees for four boards on Monday, October 26, 2026. Here are the dates, locations and rules, all from the City of London.

How to vote

Who can vote: Canadian citizens aged 18+ who live in London, or who own or rent property here (or are the spouse of someone who does), and aren't otherwise prohibited by law.

Bring ID showing your name and address — an original or certified copy. An Ontario driver's licence, health card, utility bill, bank statement or T4 all work. Bring your voter notification card if you have one, but you can vote without it.

On voting day you must use the location assigned to you. Look it up, or update your details, with the City's voter tool.

When is the London municipal election?

Voting day is Monday, October 26, 2026. Voting locations are open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Yes. Advance voting runs on set days from October 1 to October 10, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. You can use any advance voting location that is open on the day you choose, whatever your ward.
